Sore Dew Pad

This past weekend Teamworks held a show and go. I got there a little early to help set up and since we were the first there, we had the opportunity to run first. We ran through all 3 standard courses but then stopped because I noticed clover was limping on her front left foot. After examination, I noticed that she scraped her dew pad and was bleedning. I put some neosporin on it and refrained from running her the rest of the day. I did stay though and help set bars.

I didn't play ball or work with clover since the Show and go but did run her for competition class last night. It was our night with Vanessa and we were in the sand ring and had the same course as the show and go. We worked mostly on how to proof her contacts. She still stutters on the way down contacts.

I will practice some more tomorrow night on contacts, but will be careful with her dew pad. We have a trial this weekend in Sanford--The Youngsville agility club trial.
