Private Lesson

Last week was a very productive week for Clover and myself. On Monday we took a private lesson with Michele at Teamworks. We worked on Weave poles during the entire lesson. The big conclusion that we came up with is that having Clover stop and come back and redo the weave poles when she does something wrong is not necessarily having the expected affect because she thinks it is fun to run back and try again. Michele gave us some drills to work on.

On Tuesday evening I built a set of weave poles so we can practice at home. ---I know it is about time! I made them out of PVC pipe and it cost me about 15$....

On Wednesday we went to course of the week. We only ran the course once, and then we worked on weave poles and contacts. I can already see marked improvement.

Thursday was our last novice agility class for this session. We focused on games classes, specifically snooker, so it was a fun class...

Rain, and COW

Last week was a complete bust. Fall has arrived and the remains of a hurricane have lead to a week of very wet whether, so clover and I have not been able to practice much. We missed course of the week and class last week. We did go to course of the week last night. I didn't work her to hard. We ran a jumpers course that had a lot of reverse flow pivots in them and we worked on contacts and weaves. I just can't figure her out sometimes. She did very well on the weaves... But she seemed a little scattered and didn't want to do some of the jumps, so she just ran around them.
